Just really wanted to draw this guy. He seems really cool. Not to mention he is worthy to lift up Thor's hammer.

Needless to say this is in honor of the new Thor movie, but Beta needs attention too.

After his home world was invaded by the Norse version of the devil, the inhabitants of his fled on a giant escape ship right before there planet was destroyed. Before leaving, the scientist of the planet created a guardian known as Beta Ray Bill to oversee the protection of the kind. Years later, Thor had come across the ship Scuttlebutt(yeah, that's the name of it) to see what was going on, but was attacked by Beta Ray Bill. Beta thought that Thor was an invader who was trying to harm his people, and held his own against him pretty well. Thor did his best, but then got his hammer knocked away from him. To Thor's surprise Beta picked up Mjonir and was ready to end Thor, but just then Odin called him forth the hammer and the holder of it. Beta proved that not only was he a great warrior, but his duty to his people was enough to earn him the worth to hold the hammer of Thor. In light of this knowledge, Odin had a new hammer forged for Beta Ray Bill called Stormbringer. Now Beta Ray Bill fights to bring peace to his people and those suffering across the universe
