After tweaking, tweaking, y=twidgeting, and more tweaking, I have got this little jewell singing and super hot.
After comparing receive sensitivity, its better than my onkyo tx 2500 receiver.
Now I am mulling over a case.. It WILL be made of plexiglass, but I have some ideas.. More to follow..

"AM ANTENNA" and "AUDIO AMPLIFIER"
AM/FM Radio Kit
I might have to get one of those, it's been awhile since I've done any soldering.
Got it a bit on sale not much.. either way I will build and buy a few more. The instructions are killer easy and they point out exact locations on the silk screen too. (Witch is a plus)
I have plans to enclose it inside a plexiglass enclosure soon and I thought about led illumination so it can double as a display. !

And while we're at it, AM.

Bunners
Well done dear.

Also I am ordering a new Pic kit, so Maybe I can build some interesting radio support chips! [or even my own homebrew]
Yes She is a screamer lol. I found out when I was tweaking it that the daughter board did not work at all. I was confused I even re traced everything, then I found that I had two transistors, one labeled n8550 and the other n8050 reversed in their places. One was supposed to be in the others place, so I corrected it and man talk about a screamer!!
The Ic is used if you like to headphone listen or to have the longest battery life, The daughter board takes the place of the Ic and gives you 5 transistors of amplification. But it does draw twice the power, but its a trade because it drives the speaker very well.
So its like a car with twin headlights, hi beams to see the critters in the distance or low beams to keep from getting the finger. lol
By the way, that icon is sexy. :)
