While trying to decide to make Ryker either an umbreon or a poochyena, I sketched this, a side by side comparison of the two. I decided on poochyena in the end, as it's hard to picture a carefree fun loving umbreon, they look so serious!

Ryker is the son of Lance, and suppodely Ash's mother, making him Ash's older sibling. Wether or not he is a half or full brother isn't known. He spent most of his youth in an elite training academy run by his father and some other members of the various elite four from around the world, and a few gym leaders. Idolizing his father and determined to upstage him, he set out after graduation to become the best trainer the world had ever seen...and to have fun, party, and swoon as many women as possible. He's very chivalrous despite his flirtatious ways and will jump into danger sometimes without thinking, which is how he became a victim of team rocket and the stolen prototype ditto balls. When he saw two people being attacked by team rocket he launched into action, bewildered by the two people begin captured by the strange balls he snatched both, only to be overwhelmed by the leaking energy from within, and turned permanently into a poochyena morph. He has taken the change rather well, choosing to ignore his smaller size and new instincts, as well as the possibilty he may no longer be an adult much like what happened to a growlithe morph victim he is traveling with. His main focus is still on girls, and becoming the best trainer, but he has a new goal of trying to evolve, for some reason or other.
