I have a little bit of advice, you should divvy up your story and post it bit by bit. This way people aren't so intimidated by your book, and you also have multiple posts which means more chances for people to see your work and get interested in it. If you lead people on they might get caught up in the story and be gnawing at the bit for your next post (assuming your writing is up to par, which I'm sure it is :) ). I consider myself an avid reader and that word count and quick scroll down the pages was too much for me lol. Just some thoughts!

Awesome advice. That, and the file is pretty big, and takes a good while to download, that'll turn people off, too.

Indeed it did not work as planned. Would like to be able to post without the reader needing download but I expect even one chapter at a time that is not possible, unless you folks know a submission secrete.

OK, the new file is the first chapter and hopefully this is easier to manage.

Originally I had a prolog, but that proved too disconnected. Thank you my friends for the assistance and advice. I did promises Zid no audio version cause he agrees I do sound like Truman Capotee:)

Check out the latest. Just the first chapter. This should be a bit easier to deal with. Is there a way to post without needing download? Current takes but a moment, but some are using devices that prefer a direct view.

Yes, you put the actually story in the download option AND in the description. Check out any of my stories and you will see what I mean (hint hint, COMPLETELY advertising :P). It makes people much more likely to read it if they can see the story just by scrolling down.
