Oh definitely, I've been doing research for a long time, plus I've been volunteering at a sanctuary where I get to play with another fox named Skitter, socialize her, and she in return has developed a bond of trust and loves being around me. I will need more money, a city where they're legal and a large open area to romp around in. She's such a sweet little fox

Oh, I've been doing my homework though I'm friends with a licensed USDA breeder in my home state since they're a lot cheaper. Russian foxes are still very foxy in their behavior and a lot of work, they're just a little calmer

Yeah, very different from a completely wild a fox, foxes in the wild would just keep their distance and not let you approach them at all. The act like a cat and a dog mixed in one, but share a common ancestor with canines. If they're captive bred (along with generations of foxes), and grow up around people, they will be very tamed and affectionate around people.

It Has Something To Do With Them Not Being Social Animals In The Wild, But Usually The Vixen's Mate Will Chase Strange Females Away From The Dens. Though I've Also Heard Of Them Socializing Just Fine With Family Members.

Awww So Cute <3 For Some Reason It's A Trait Only Some Foxes Get, A Lot Of The Ones Out Here Just Stay Brownish Red With Short Thick Coats. I've Seen More Males With It Than Females, The Females Tend To Have Prettier Winter Tails Though.

Yeah :3 Out Here In The Wild They Don't Live Long, Too Many Poachers and Competition, Poachers Are The Worst Out Here, And They're So Mean To The Animals When They Kill Them, Not To Mention People's Dogs, Nobody Puts Them On Chains Or Trains Them, They Just Teach Them How To Kill Then They're Done, People Out Here Will Kill Just About Anything (Pet Cats, Birds, Wolves, Bears) Anything That Wanders By While They're Holding A gun, Or A Steering Wheel. Yet If Someone Kills A Dog They Act Like It's The Biggest Sin In The World >:U I've Seen So Many Get Hit On The Highway Or Lose Limbs From Chasing Deer, And Of Course It's Everybody Elses Fault But The Owners.

I Used To Know A girl Whose Dad Had A Pet Fox, He Moved To A New Warmer Home When He Got Old But The House They Built For Him Was Amazing X3 A Little Piece Of Foxy Heaven. She Said It Was Kit He Found After Finding A Trapped Vixen That Had Died, He Found The Nest And That Was The Only One In It. Lol Little Foxy Foxes X3 So Cute, She Said He Was Fifteen Years Old Last Time She Saw Him and His Fur Was Grey, Yet He Still Ran Around Like A Baby Unless It Got Cold X3

And that is one of many reasons I want a pet fox, so the animal has a place where he or she can get the love and care they deserve. I hate the fur industry like no other, it just irks me more than anything relating to animals.

The Only Time I Have Ever Been Okay With People Using Fur For Sales Is When It's The Native Americans Who Pick Up Roadkill And Turn It Into Something Beautiful <3 They're So Good With They're Hands. But It's Just Ridiculous When People Kill Things For That, There Are Barely Any Musk Deer Left Just Because Rich People Want To Make Perfume From Their Musk, They'll Kill An Entire Deer For One Gland, The Rare White Deer Geen That Appears Out Here Is Going Extinct Too, Because People Kill Them Anytime They See One. The Deer I Petted Was A Year Old Female, It Got It's Leg Blown Own Off By A Shotgun Outside Of Hunting Season, It Was Out There For About Three Days Before I Found It and Had A Second Bullet Wound On Its Hip, Yet This One Was AT Least A Few Months Old.

It Slept In My Lap Until The Ranger Came, It Had The Most Beautiful Intelligent Eyes <3 It Had To Be Put Down Though Because Even Though Deer Can Live With Three Legs This One Had Become Paralyzed From Infection Entering It's Spine, He Went To Investigate For Shootings, Hopefully They Found The Person Who Did It >:

I don't know, it just irks me to no end. I love animals a lot, and working with them has given me a deeper appreciation for them as I see them in a new light; not just animals, but as potential friends, companions to love you. The guy who shot that animal, I hope he burns in hell. I hate animal abuse to the max.

I Think It's Stupid When Hunters Shoot A Bunch Of Deer In A Herd Then Only Chase After One, There's ALways A Ton Of Deer Who Die Out Here.

Exactly. I'm glad I never got involved with hunting at all. All animals deserve our respect.

It's Amazing How Quickly The Deer population Out Here Drops During Hunting Season, Then They Always Have The Excuse That They're Only Hunting For Food, Yet I've Seen So Many People Not Even Butcher The Deer After Skinning It Or It Have It Sit In Their Freezer To Never Be Touched While They're Out Looking For More. The Poor People Are The Only Ones Who ACtually Use The Meat, They Also Use The Fur, Bones, Organs, SKin, And Ivory, Two Large Elk Will Feed A Family For A Year, Yet All The People Catching Them Only Want The Antlers and Skin, A Lot Of Hunters Just Leave The Carcass Out In The Woods To Be Eaten By stray Dogs And Cats Or To Attract Canivorous Animals To Hunt.

I Can't Even Let My Cats Out Anymore, They Have Collars And Are Fixed Yet People Will Shoot Them Anyways, Some People Even Skin Them For Trophies, My Shinya Already Went Missing And Cottonseed Almost Got Her Leg Torn Off, Shiro Ended Up Moving In With The Person Who Gave Cottonseed Stitches After Shinya Went Missing, Neither Of The Cats Have Been Acting Right Since >: I Don't Even Want To Foster Any More Cats Unless We Move.
