This is an original song I composed a few years back. All the sounds are produced by an Alesis QSR synthesizer and I used Mark of the Unicorn's Digital Performer for sequencing and audio recording/mixing. The music is completely original and I'm not using any loops or prerecorded sequences at all. I programmed the percussion into the sequencer, but I played all the rest of the parts "live". The song is a bit repetitious and I never could quite figure out an ending for the song, but I'll point out that I have no formal training in music and I just figured things out as I went along. I had fun writing and performing this nonetheless, so see what you think.

Yeah, my music tends to come out video game like since my melodies are pretty simple. I stick to single notes as opposed to chords, which is like the older console games that couldn't generate more than a few notes at once. But that's OK. Some day I hope to have enough time to really get in and study music theory and hopefully I'll be able to start producing something more complex.
In the meantime, this will be probably be my signature sound.
