One thing I feel I should say reading this. I liked the original a lot but it had one flaw that kinda turned me off to it. It's not a problem right now with minimal characters, but in the original when there were lots of characters to keep track of and each had their own names, a lack of species reference here and there left me scratching my head over who was who. I don't know about most readers, but I'm not a fan of keeping lists of characters names and descriptions just so i know who's doing what.
I'm not saying much, but when it's know which individual is talking just a little something like "That's right," the portly Agumon smiled, "..." or something like that would be a big help. Just once a chapter for each character would be enough to keep it straight. It wouldn't even have to reference their species. Like for Rose just saying 'the huge vixen nodded' or some such thing is enough to know it's her. Even if another vulpine was added just change it too 'the huge yellow vixen' and that's enough.
I hope this doesn't come off as too critical. I did like the story a lot and I wanted to enjoy it more, but loosing track of which character was what made it hard to stay invested when it was hard to put them together in my mind, especially with days or more between chapters. I just hope this helps a little without seeming too forceful or anything.

I hear ya. I have to agree too many characters can be hard to keep track of and it is something I've mqde sure to avoid since then. For now this story has only 2 characters, but depending on the feedback I get and how I make the plot progress I may have to bring in more, though more spread out.
