Yep, specially since it my ammo for my 1919! Gonna take that and my cannon out soon now that Bobcatt's home.

I buy surplus ammo, sometimes by the half pallet whenever I can.

The ammo I usually get for my Maadi is now 21cents a round, which makes it just that much more difficult to keep a good supply around.

I used to be able to get 1,000 rounds for just under $100, but I think those days are gone...

This is ironic because I just got a new linker and more metal links (no more cloth belts).

The really unfortunate part is that when we took my 1919 out it managed to break that little spring tab in the top cover that pushes the extractor down to strip a new round out, so now it can't feed from a belt until I replace that. Parts are on the way from OOW, so I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully it'll be fixed by this weekend.

Let's see...last I checked I now have over 15,000 rounds of .22 long rifle ammo, but a mere 250 rounds of 7.62x39...not enough for proper care and feeding of my Kalashnikov, and about 120 rounds of 8x57 for my KAR98K
