Ducks have cloacae anyway, so wearing boxers seems silly, since their reproductive/excretion orifice would be covered by feathers, and located more to the rear of the bird. Why does he wear his hat and mask to bathe?

Ha!! That's what I have been saying for years!! Their feathers would always cover their "equipment" anyways. But yes, if ya are a Darkwing Duck and Negaduck fan, anytime they were seen without their costume, they wore boxer shorts. Darkwing had purple boxers with little red hearts, and Negaduck's are black skull and cross bones all over them. I would prefer since that they did not wear pants or bare on the bottom when they wore their costume, that they be bare without their costume.

Anyways, the fedora and mask was kept on while he was about to bathe because it was kind of a joke among me friends at DeviantART. Knowing Darkwing Duck, he probably does take a bath with his fedora and mask!

That is so true!!! Funny the Duckies I feed on a daily basis on me lunch hour don't have swim trunks on? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe they put them on after I leave, eh?

there's a logic to this.
onwe of our more famous artists, who draws Sabrina Online (you know who he is), has explained this out as they ARE wearing pants...they're just a 'body match'

and, remember, even Ducks, who actually HAVE equipment, unlike a lot of birds, keep it stored away.

but the logic, here, is, to imply that they ARE down to their skivvies. a similar trick was played with the live action version of "howard the Duck" (not to mention a gratuitus tit-shot :P)
