The species has been renamed! They are no longer called fokkles... For obvious reasons... What you're looking at is now called a terraeleon. Same strong-backed fluff, different name. :3 More to come when other designs are finished!

Try shading with purple. Shadows always seem to be purple, despite whatever colour it is on. I used purple for shadows and yellow for highlights. It also makes everything look richer in colour. Try it! :3 It takes a bit to get the right combination, but I'm never disappointed with how it turns out.
