I appreciate your concern on this. I made sure the costume wasn't tight at all and he ran around just fine, playing and exploring as ferrets are prone to do. He got some treats during the process and was only in the costume for around twenty minutes. I did pick him up for this picture and after it was snapped, he was put back down. I assure you I took more care with this than what can be found in many pet store ferret costumes available for purchase. I know of others who have made similar costumes for their ferrets that I can share with you.

My guy is at a healthy weight, is up to date on all his vet visits, and has never been ill. I have not costumed him before or since, so hopefully that will put your mind at ease. I assure you he is healthy, happy, and spoiled.

That said, I will be happy to take this picture down if it is distressing you and if you believe me to be an unfit owner, I would be willing to re-home him somewhere where he will lead a better life. I only wish the best for him and if that is not with me, then his well-being is more important than my attachment to him.

Naaah, you dont need to. it was a joke its pretty obvious that he isent in pain at all. i just like to fuck around with people, theres no need to take it down :P personally i dont care if people dress up their animals, if you like that type of stuff thats fine.
