Your simple backgrounds really have come a long way. I imagine you are to a point now in which making one takes very little time. However, they certainly help bring out the character you are drawing while allowing us to enjoy a special, style only you can bring to such work.
The diaper / nappy is also quite interesting. It looks different from others you have drawn.
The most awesome part of this work, for me, is the eyes. The eyes really draw you in. Excellent work!
