God I loved the REAL ghostbusters as a kid. The episode where they turn into animals most likely has some hand in how I ended up here haha.

Actually, I didn't watch it all that much. My brothers had the toys though & I eventually bought the wolf for myself.

He's from a series of monsters they did early on in the action figure line.

The crossed eyes and the lolling tongue add just the right comic touch to this otherwise menacing character.

I was paying homage to the actual figure.

I still have this guy floating around somewhere! Ahh the memories.

He's the only one I ever got from that line.

Actually in one episode they did come across werewolves, and at least twice vampires too.

Ghostbusters is pretty popular I guess. I was never a huge fan or anything.

The show usually had "monster" monsters ( werewolves, mummies, mutants etc) be caused by possession. So they just coax the ghost out and zap it. Like the werechicken was a spooky poultrygeist ( snerk).

The only time there are actual werewolves in the show, is when a dickbag vampire calls Ghostbusters to get them out of some village he wants to run. In the end the vampires fight the werewolves while the team escape, knocking a dam down so the village is surrounded by running water. But it's just funny that they don't solve the problem. Just "Nope, they'll kill themselves"

Thanks so much. I never really got into the show. I saw the first movie several times. My brothers had lots of the toys, which were fun. I had to get a werewolf for myself though.

I actually prefer the show over the movie. It's a good movie, but not really a favourite for me. Where as the show had tons more monsters and escapades. I was annoyed when the RPG game said that the cartoon wasn't cannon. :O

If the cartoon is cannon... does that just leave the 2 movies?

Well in the cartoon, they reference the movies as being something made about them. As in, they're fictional in that verse xD. Well a lot more tech becomes available in the cartoon than the movies, so sometimes items from the cartoon will show up in the game.

I guess they are two different canons for the same thing! xD

There is just something increibly awesome about the novelty of a werewolf in office clothing. Maybe it's a shout out ot the desire in us all to break out of the norm and embrace our wild side. Or maybe it's the juxtaposition of a wild beast man clad in conservative dress clothes? Perhaps a mix of those two things? Either way, this has consistently been one of my favorite aesthetics for as long as i can remember! The only one I can think of that I like more is werewolves in street clothing!

By the way, I really dig that snarly expression! Ugh! Werewolves are just so dang cool! <3

When it comes to old figures, I prefer to buy loose, that way I don't have to grapple with guilt for opening a figure that's gone 10-20 years or however long in the package.

I have mine and I should hunt down my brother's. I just like the pic of him on the package.
