When I was very small I used to have nightmares very often.
Then after a little while, this started appearing in my dreams.
She'd rip whatever was (usually) chasing me to pieces or eat it. If I was very badly injured she'd eat me and I'd be safe.
Gradually I had fewer and fewer nightmares, eventually only one and she stopped appearing in my dreams.
In a weird way it felt like she was there if I needed her though and recently some very bad things happened IRL (all sorted and fine <3<3) and she appeared again for the first time in 2 years.
So I drew her.

This is my guardian.
I know not what she truely is, why she helps me or even her name.
But I love her all the same, for she is my guardian,
My safeplace in my dreams.
