My half of an art trade with : Nyro. I was asked to draw a winged fox femme flying through the clouds, then given free rein. :D

I was going to name her Cirrus, after a type of clouds, but then my friends caught sight of her and all simultaneously declared that "she looks like the angel Gabriel", so I took the hint and named her Gabrielle. (Same pronunciation, feminine spelling.)

She strikes me as a blend of grace and melancholy, though I'm not sure if there's anything more significant than general artistic moodiness behind that.

Microns on cardstock, quick-colored in PhotoShop b/c I'm lazy like that. Pleasantly surprised by how well she turned out. Perhaps I ought to let my creativity demons run amok more often.
