It looks like it may still have some moisture left inside of it from the spilled coffee. I know there are some differences between the two, but my sister once dropped her phone in the sink and it took a little over a month before the touchscreen would stop selecting things on it's own and even now it still doesn't work right. It looks like you may have to replace it soon
