I absolutely love mythological creatures, especially ones that have to do with water. Kelpies have long been my favorite things to make into pony characters but I'm looking into branching out into other mythological beasts.

Here we have my versions of a kelpy and a grindylow.

Left-
Name: Grim Waters (G)
Gender: Male
Species: Grindylow x Pony
Ear type: Normal shape, but with spines
Mouth: Sharp teeth except for right side, upper. Light blue normal tongue.
Eyes: Large, dark eyes
Body type: Skinny, slightly unhealthy looking. Fur is slimy and cold at all times.
Hair type: Normal
Extras: Pair of arms based on shoulders. When withdrawn just black dots on coat. Smaller than average pony. Gills only.
Diet: Medium and small sized animals and insects. Carnivore.

Right-
Name: Murky Depths (Mary)
Gender: Herm, looks female
Species: Kelpy x Pony multi-crossing
Ear type: Fin like, tripple
Mouth: Sharp canines, light pink slightly long tongue.
Eyes: Black, slightly slinted.
Body type: Abrormal. Skinny in some parts, chubby in others. Fur stays dry when under water due to coating.
Hair type: Normal when dry, gooey when wet.
Extras: Tentadick, singular. Slightly larger than average pony. Clydesdale like hooves. Gills and lungs.
Diet: Omnivore. Eats leafy and water dwelling plants, small insects, and small to large mammals.


Welp, that's what I have so far. I'll work on expanding on their info and history as I figure things out for them. Might pop up a few other myth-ponys too.
