My group Beastcub's Creatures is an official part of the fair http://www.allhallowsfaire.com/info.html
This year as I arrived in town Friday (2 hour drive up the mountains from my home in the valley) to stay for the weekend, I was met with the surreal sight of me and my friend Civon on the cover of the local paper (I can tell the pic is from the year Civon was there by the fact Oni is so tall lol)
I saw myself on the paper everywhere we went including the fairground office, the AM PM, Save Mart (to buy food for our stay) and Round Table Pizza (our traditional Friday feast before the event)
That weekend I had several people remark about the paper wanting a picture with me more viciously than normal, and I had a few who believed I was the event's mascot due to being on the paper X3
It was sort of a surreal experience.
