Ironically, I had a Charizard & Lucario on my Main Team when i beat the game as well. Though my Charizard was a Female. (And the Only female on my main team too, lol)
The rest of my Team was Floatzel (Nicknamed Hydro) Chestnaught (Nicknamed Chester) Mightyena (Nicknamed Mighty) And Raichu (Nicknamed Thunders) (Yea, I named my Pikachu/Raichu the Japanese name of Jolteon)

i ave no clue where zygarde is but i do know the kanto bird trio roam kalos until you come across all 3 of them

oh okay basically he's in the mine i ran into the guy ahead of time so i knew basically you enter it normally and just keep fallowing the normal path leading to downwards stairs eventually you know your almost there when you see two rangers i believe and go past them and down and your there its not hard to find the path you just gotta keep going the path with the trainers
huh i don't remember if rock smash is needed but know that you get it from someone in the town i believe the person in from of the aquariam in the fossil town also you can use rock smash to get an old amber for aerodactyl but i think its higher chance in glittering cave just to let you know i'm sure you'll find it if you go deep enough into the cave its not gonna take you long to find the right path
