Reunion? You do realise that Al was not in that suit of armour at the end of FMA? He looked like a ginger version of Elric without the really long fringe (it was somewhat shorter). They wound up in Nazi Germany just as Hitler was about to be taken down. Alfonse was a state alchemist for a long time, and Elric wound up as a mechanic with two false limbs that had hidden armaments within. Quite clever considering Alchemy doesn't work in this world.
