I was listening to Kid Rock's "Cowboy" the other day and - in that wonderful way that it sometime does - my muse gave me a kick up the arse and I made a painting XD I figured my hunky horse Clint would make a perfect subject for this theme, hehe. And yes, I also enjoyed looking up reference photos of sexy shirtless cowboys ;D

Of course this is fantastic overall, but in particular I agree with what was said above about expression, swagger and the wind-swept hair and mane. The balance between the ground and sky is awesome, and I think the birds are a fantastic touch to a "high noon" sort of show down.
