First - I think I don't paint enough men.
Second - I should do more reference sheets - they are so much fun!
It was a great pleasure, not only to work on a ref sheet that is supposed to be the design for
's fursuit, but to have the possibility to show his masuline sexyness from so many angles!
I love Rip's design - being a huge black wolf makes him simple and yet original (given the amount of characters with flashy beautymarks, tatoos or any strange additions). With such simplicity, nothing distracts from enjoying his perfect body, thickness of fur and piercing gaze of these sapphire eyes ;)
Anyway - here he is - in all his black shiny glory - Mister Riptor Stormwolf.
The title is a part of the spanish proverb: Blue eyes say: Love me or I die; black eyes say: Love me or I kill thee.

Thank you, Dear!
Shiny fur was the best way to deal with pitch black design ;) To show the way he's built and still have him black ;)
The feet were a matter of purpose. Since this refsheet is supposed to become a design for a fursuit, and Rip didn't like how the digitigrade feet look in suits... I had to start with a plantigrade feet and make him tip toe ;)

good thought! ^^
ah, nifty. that way he could wear heel-less boots and they would still look "canon". :)
some time ago I made a possible suit ref for ymself of a three-horned goat guy, and gave him foot-proportioned hoof feetsies, with leather-"boots", just in case. but it's far away from realisation, though.
