This is Hot Minute, an OC designed by publicenemymlp.deviantart.com! I got a new tablet because I lost the pen to my old one ( and found it about a week after I received the new tablet >:| ), and to get back in the swing of drawing things, I decided to offer someone a free pony, and Twicee is a very sweet girl, so I thought she deserved it. :3

I normally do a sort of soft cel-shading kinda thing, but I decided to branch out a little this time and actually play with the brushes in Sai. The cutie mark was a pain in the ass to do, just because I couldn't figure out how to get all 12 numerals onto the circle (Sorry, Twicee!), so I had to stop at 11. =/ In the reference image I was given, the mark was stark black, but I changed it to a very dark shade of her coat color so it was less glaring and looked a little less like it was painted on.

The file is huge! I even reduced its size by 300% (THAT'S MASSIVE). 6000 x 6000 pixels was the original canvas size, and after cropping the sketch, it came to 5133 x 3324. There was one more reduction after the lining stage, which brought the image down to 1711 x 1108 pixels. That makes it large enough for a wallpaper. ;3

Anyway, I hope you like it, Twicee! It was really nice to get back into drawing, and I hope that if you ever end up using this character, that the image is good enough for a reference picture for you. <3
