"Within in wind, even the prettiest of all flowers will eventually wither..."
First of all, I'm not depressed, so don't worry. :3
Sometimes, I have the urge to express beauty with sorrow or things as such, since I never really do, so expanding my use of emotion in my art is very important to me.
Being into goth stuff, I have always enjoyed emotional artwork, so I decided to make my own.
This idea hit me in the middle of the night and I HAD to get it down.
I guess I can say I'm satisfied with the outcome and I figured I would use thicker lines for this one to add more of a mood so to speak.
I see mistakes that I have made.
But, you know what?
I really don't care.
Because, with practice I will get better and I still love how this came out.
Also SORRY for uploading and taking it down like 10 billion times.
I forgot my signature.
F5 for its higher quality.

Poor girl. For something you did essentially to practice with different emotions, this picture is really very moving. I really like how you used the wind with the flower petals, and her tears, to evoke a sense of loss and sorrow, as well as how she's cupping the flower in her open hands, which adds a sense of acceptance. It adds a feeling of hope for the future. Whatever has happened to her hurts now, but life will go on. Of course, I also like how you haven't directly stated what, or who, she has lost. It kind of makes the image a bit more powerful, as anyone can put themselves in her place.
Of course, that's me probably reading too much into things. So I do apologize if that's the case!
It's a really gorgeous picture, too. If I may say so, your coloring work just keeps on getting better, and I particularly like how you handle things like the sheen of her hair and the way the light is reflected off the tears. Your work is getting much better overall, too. This is one of the best figures you've done in a while, I think, and she really does look great.
