I always enjoy seeing these, also I find it a interesting note the mood difference, ya old one it´s cutesy and dreaming about boys and all that (judging by the thought bubble) and the redraw she is sombre and in deep though.

Holy balls the improvement.

Immense improvement (not a surprise at all), though I always interpreted that head on the lefthand side as being a sort of "tucked chin" pose, suggesting she's looking down and to one side in this case. (Strictly a result of the drawing style? I've never been sure about that Sonic-like style) I note that this is not the case in the redraw. Did this cross your mind while redoing the picture? Was the new pose what you had intended all along?
