Ok,fun fact time then.

On the show Mystery Science Theater 3000,they did a couple of old black and white sci-fi movies that starred a guy named Rocky and his uniform ineffectual sidekick,Winky. How Winky got such a nickname and why he continued to respond to it is never explained.

Winky was your basic pathetic individual. The Jimmy Olsen to Rocky's Superman. A fact made all the worse by the fact his dialogue just made him look all the worse. It was like someone went back in time and wrote his dialogue as a joke that noone would get til now.

His most famous line was when he was talking about his "black book" that was important for him to get in on the "gay night life". I shit you not,he actually says this. So if somone asks Winky about the "gay night life",now you'll know what they're talking about.

LOL! Battle Brother Winky, were you trying to get the enemy to laugh into submission? Anywho, a nice paint you've done here, good restoration.

heh, its pretty cool, though I gotta say the paint looks a tad bit thick around areas (the flash must have shown this)

but its not bad, I might put my dreadnought up at some point

well it was extremely badly painted , i try to take as much of the old paint as i could with out scaping the modle.

the guy orriginaly just spraypainted it with silver paint.

Aint played this in ages X3 got a tiny chaos army in my wardrobe somewhere. used to have a full betalion of Tyranids when I first started playing

Tyranids? I HATE TYRANIDS , i want to flame , bolter and plasma the lot of em ... never won a game againce the damd Tyranids ^^()...... yet

Fun fact , am the only guy in the club who's plays CODEX marines , let alon the defenders of Ultramar.

In all honesty, I just kept forgetting the rules, I have a very poor memory and got sick of having to sit there for a hour before each game re-learning them x.x that and my entire army got ruddy eaten by my half brothers mutt >.< �299 of tyranids destroyed and a good weeks worth of painting

SOB... the dog ait my army , thas a new one

took me about a month to learn how to plat and am still learning (i still forget some unit's special abilitys) .
Note Spacemaarines are an easy army to start and learn with

it only took you a week to paint 299 figurs ? dang i do about 6 to 12 figurs a week depending on the complexity.

I did art and technology in school so learned how to paint fast, amazing how quickly you can base coat a army with 5 cans of black linked together ^^

Is that a led or did you just Photoshopped the image? .lol: I saw photos of a psycho's Tau army who put leds into heads of his Firewariors (the whole lot of 'em) so that their eyes-pieces would be luminous!-)

no it was photoshopt for effect, this is the old , all metal dsread

I prefer metal mins and most of my Imprerial Guard army is lead - it started a lot of time ago and i'm buying 'reinforcements' for it on e-Bay among cheep oldies:)

all metal. you must need powerarmor to move your army from place to place.

i use the dread primerly to ancker one of my flanks

I'm the first on the table to send my Terminus head-long into a fight before any of the Assault Marines o' mine can get in range...I'm not a fan of the Hellhammer's cannon >.<

Lr treminus and hellhamers are apocalys only , no good for your avrehe 40k pick up game.

Not so. The Terminus doesn't fall under the "Super-Heavy" category. Which makes it kosher for other 40k games. No one's complained about mine yet.
