October 16th marks the sad death of Dan Wheldon 2 years earlier in the Vegas race of the IRL. Though this year has also been marred by the deaths of Sean Edwards, Maria De Viollota, Josh Burton, Jason Leffler, Andrea Mame, Paul Mulcahy, Allen Simosen and Silverster Wolf to name a few.

It's hard for me to say much, partialy because I'm not a racing driver, at least not in reality, at beast I'm a virtual one, and even then I can't say too much.

But as someone who has followed racing for a long time at the least...while racing is dangerous, at the least I do feel that every driver whom gets into or on a machine, be it on four wheels, two, or be on the water, or even the air, they all get a fair chance to be able to end the race alive, win or lose.

I'd ramble further but I'm not sure, as of this writing I'm tired, and part of me feels like I'm going to regret writing this once I wake up.

But this much I will say, what you see before you is my little tribute to Dan Wheldon as well as Marco Simochelli.

I've had this for a while but decided to post it now, partially cause it's the least I could do but also because a more proper tribute is in the making. It will be some time till I can post it proper.
