do you have any tutorials or process images for this kind of painting? like, I'd love to know if you use masking to get those sharp edges or if you're just really precise with the brush haha

It's funny, I was thinking about making one while I was working on this! I don't have any up at the moment, but next time I get a commission for these I'll document it up.
While I'm working on the piece, the edges can get pretty messy, so when it's all finished up I paint white over the rough parts. After I scan them in I remove the canvas texture around the image, and though that usually doesn't affect the edge to much I can sometimes go in and clean up the fuzzier parts.
