How'd you make the flames? Did you use a mask over the drawing?

nah, the flames are from a screencap I took from Postal 2, the game. I selected the flames by color and then inverted the selection to turn everything else white. From there it was just dropping the flames in a hardlight layer and multiplying it a few times over the drawing.
