There are these kinder-egg-plastic-bone-owl-pellets out there and they piss me off because there is no way any ball of lint packed with plastic bones could ever, ever compare to pulling apart a ball of real, compacted fur and finding this.

Look at those sutures on the skull pieces! The pores in all the bones. Look at that jawbone! Those teeth! Absolutely nothing man made could ever compare to this.

I don’t know what animal this is from… The vertebrae at the top is at least 3/4” wide, and the jaws are pretty big. I don’t know what this owl was eating, but it must have eaten well…
