Luftwaffe bomber pilot, Battle of Britain, 1940
A relatively old drawing of a Heinkel He-111H-1 pilot during Battle of Britain. Steering wheel on He-111 is pivoted on the center column, so it can be swung to the right side in case the main pilot is incapacitated (like shot by spitfire's .303)
