This is another activity I do in my spare time, rigging 3D models and importing them into games, notable, Super Smash Bros Brawl. Imported over Peach, this character has been one the ones I wanted to see most, especially since you know, she's a fox (pun intended and for a literal sense) and well, she's just freaking awesome as a character. I made a version earlier, but it had some issues with the rig, this is a redo, making sure the rig animates as smoothly as possible. I've been rigging with 3DS Max for over a year and have gotten far better (much of it being self-taught).

I agree, and using 3DS Max has taught me a lot, so have the fine people at Brawl Vault, very helpful in getting me in the right direction. Ever since I played Star Fox Adventures, I always wanted to play Krystal as a character in Super Smash Bros, and now, it's a reality I guess you could say *puts on sunglasses* she is one foxy lady......yeaaaaaaaah
Lol. Believe it or not I am actually currently playing Star Fox Adventures. I finally found a copy of the game after about 4 months of looking for it lol. The Star Fox games for the GameCube are not easy to get ahold of lol because it seems like the Star Fox games are two of the games that everyone wants but nobody wants to get rid of lol.
Nice! Yeah, I'm redoing an old hack of mine to make sure it isn't as rigid (adding vertices, making sure it lines up with the skeleton properly) it's tedious but rewarding. Too bad so many people don't like the game because they say it's not a real Star Fox game. I say "who cares?" it's one my favorites!
It's officially one of my faves as well lol. And the thing is if people don't like the game then why do they still have it? I mean starfox adventures and assault are probably 2 of the hardest games to find for gamecube because noone got rid of them lol. I guess I was lucky to find one lol.
Oh right, yeah, that'a actually how I test my imports, since using the file replacement code crashes the game on Dolphin. You can use Dolphin to extract the contents, then a program can recompile the image back into an ISO. It's very easy to do, I'll sent a step by step guide to you
Oh, I asked the original dude who ported Krystal over Fox if I could use the model and he said I could! I just rig (or bind) the model over Peach's skeleton so it animates. 3DS Max is the better of the two programs for Brawl hacking, there are tutorials on Brawl Vault in using both Blender and 3DS Max for rigging
