It means that your cat is coming down with the feline equivilency of morning sickness. only without the puking part. If she stops eating all together, then i would start to worry.

Well, if she stops eating all together, i would ask around for help. Starving while pregnant does not sound like a good thing. She has got to feed her kittens as well.

I doupt she will, she is probly just tired, lotta effort in being pregnate. Almost every mother i know says that, so ill go with their opinion.

yeah, I've watched my sister have like, 7 kids? *lost track sadly*. I only know a few things:
preggo's like their food, DO NOT TOUCH! lol
The baby drops when they are getting ready to make their escape.
I never want kids.

Is it the same with cats? the kits 'drop'?
Sabrina looks real tired, and it's totally understandable. Though she looked more tired the day she got preggo (I shoulda wrote that down but everyone said I was trippin, lol)

I am the oldest of 5, i change diapers on a daily basis.

As for the kittens, i think so. there are some signs to when she is getting ready, but i think many help sites can list them better than i can.

I'm sorry *hugs* lol. unless you enjoy it, than, awesome ^.^ my sisters kids made it so I don't even do diapers now. lol. Her newborn was only in my arms long enough to get a pic and then she was quickly passed on XP.

But you are helpful *noddles*. I wouldn't have looked up what my job is, since the last couple times a cat has had babies my dad would tell me to just 'leave her alone, she'll know what to do'. lol.

To be true, she will know what to do, but that doesnt mean you cant help. Also, it means that said cat will cause less collateral damage if you interdict a little here and there.

When my first cat had kittens, she only had two, one pure white, the other black with a little white. The black one suffocated the white one on the first day and then Lil Miss (momma) refused to touch him at all. I had to make her sit still to feed him. It was like he wasa rat or something,lol. But I dunno if she just didn't like him or something was wrong or that I moved him off the white one... *blinks*

I hope I can be there, though, and she doesn't have them while we're all crashed out. Hopefully I'll be able to record some of it onmy cam, lol.

that is sad. sniff, reminds me of a time when my favorite kitten passd on...

Yush, very sad. I cried and got weird looks from everyone. But I was the one who was uber excited about hte kits and then the one who had to burry them.

Mine ate all the time. She never stopped.

She sadly lost the litter when the first one got stuck and died after the sack broke which made them all break and die.

Almost lost her if I had not been around to take her to vet really fast.

Now she is as fat as before. ;p

Awwww, that's what the vet checked for with Lil Miss (my siamese) when she got sick after the kittens died. She ended up having some serious illness and almost died. Can't remember what it is. But they had to spay (neuter?) her or she'd die if she got prego again.

Sabrina here lost two of her kittens the last time. I'm hoping she doesn't keep up that tradition this time around

I'll definately have fun, though. I enjoy taking care of animals ^.^ especially the prego ones.

What kind of cat is she? What type of cats are you breeding? I know nothing about cat breeds so you'll have to forgive me for not recognizing her breed XD

Well, she was a stray. Her momma died the day she was born and my momma found the litter not but a couple hours after they were born. Out of five, her and her sister were the only to survive(but someone stole her sister from us.)
And, we didn't really breed her. She's an outdoor cat, so, we aren't really sure who the daddy is. We just assume the daddy is our orange tom cat, another stray we picked up as a kitten. lol.
So, she ish a mutt XP

eek, you should spay her then, I mean...the world doesn't need more mutt-kittens, and neuter the daddy so it doesn't happen again

Yeah, I would, but I dun have the moneys for that. I think the pound does something like that for free but I'm not sure, every time I call they're closed.

check online for a "spay mobile" that goes around...a lot of towns have those...or check out different vets...a lot of them offer free-spay programs
