X3 I dont usually like orange.. I find it a fairly annoying color.. But this boy pulls it off well. He is based off of a ryukin gold fish. Those goldfish with the split tails that look like butterfly wings. I think he is really pretty. Im pleased with how this came out. Seems my art block is cracking a bit. Anyway. This merboy is behind glass in some kind of tank, I tried to make it look as if his hands were pressed to the glass.

That is indeed very nifty, and yes, i agree that he is a real cutie :) To help with the glass, maybe you could check out some other things with glass shown in front of it, help with the technique, or even put someone in front of the glass... maybe something like the side of some person walking out of the right side of the frame, to fit with where our aquatic friend here is looking :)
Thanks! I have actually looked at alot of reference pictures for the glass, and I did consider adding a form walking by, but I wanted him to have all the attention in the picture and have people go "what is he looking at?" X3 So yeah.. Im not sure what else to do to make it look as if he is behind glass. I think I did a good job with it though.
