I was planning on making a short comic collection, with possible yuri themes. This is a design for a foxgirl I plan on incorporating in the project. I also have a bunny girl design, but I need to work on a colored version. This was sketched and painted in GIMP. I had some trouble with the inking, I wound up having to use paths, because my hand isn't steady enough to ink with a wacom tablet. She's supposed to have fingers, but I was so busy getting everything else done, that I forgot to put them in before the inking phase. I might fix it later. I think it turned out pretty well, myself. She doesn't have a name yet, stupid right brain isolationism. Can never think of names while I'm drawing. You may have noticed my signature changed slightly, I finally decided to start holding the stylus like a pen actually should be held for handwriting. My handwriting is notoriously bad, like a 3rd graders or something, so I think it looks pretty good considering.

It's a bit crude, as I didn't actually do any inking. Also, the colors will appear a little faded because I used a lot of transparency to get the effect I was looking for. Personally, I like this one better then some of my newer work, if nothing else because the colors are a bit bolder, and it fits more effectively with the abstract, cartoony style. I prefer my newer blending technique, though. Hopefully, I'll soon be able to get the most out of both styles.
