I know right! D:
It was so stupid it being a 'healing move', and one dependant on a similarly useless ability? Even in casual play, having to use up two slots for something that isn't effective unless you waste two or three turns on is just... ><
Shoulda been like Fissure and Sheer Cold, seriously :B

Spit Up is alright, but you still have to waste valuable time with Stockpile and use up two move slots =(
Stockpile itself should be dropped, Swallow would be a low-accuracy 1HKO move, and Spit Up could be dropped if Gastro Acid is changed into a damaging ability instead of a support ability (Seriously, how is spitting up your stomach acid on someone NOT going to damage them? Especially with Swalot and Cradily who "allegedly" have very powerful digestive juices inside them? xD)

Yeah, I can totally agree with dropping Stockpile altogether, especially because you lose the buff when you use the finishing move. If Spit-Up was changed into Gastro Acid, I could see it being a sort of persistent effect, dealing damage over time and possibly increasing the effectiveness o certain moves? Or maybe that's a little bit -too- broken.
Or maybe Poison Damage + Negates ability for 1 Turn.
Dunno xD
A damage over time effect would work too - until switched out or removed with Refresh/ShedSkin
Considering the stuff they're doing in Gen6, I don't think anything would be "Too broken" at this point ^^

On the opposite end of "broken" pokemon stuff, what about the "useless" stuff?
Rayquaza's 'Air Lock' being dang close to it. Sure, it negates Rain, Sunny Day, etc... But only when he's switched in (And the Ice Beams for Everyone! tactic comes into play here... Stupid 4x weakness >_> ). They can just use the ability again and boom! Ray's ability does nada.
IMO it should negate existing weather and then PREVENT any future weather effects from occurring while Ray's on the field. I mean, that's what 'Lock' should do yes? Lock the weather state? ^^
Flareon's move set isn't all too great, and Jolteon learning Pin Missle of all things after level 30? D:
I think moves like Pin Missile are much more useful in the mystery dungeon series than in the main games ^^

Guys, guys! We're making a new dragon! Now what should the second type- Flying? But... but don't we already have 50 of those...?
...Fiiiiine. (I'm looking forward to seeing what Goomy will turn into. Hopefully the planets will align and we'll get another Kingdra :D)
If Rayquaza stood to be hurt significantly by any weather effect, maybe its ability would be more viable, but honestly, yeah, it doesn't really do much right now.
Also, lol Flareon. He, and a few of the other Eevee-lutions are like the Little Engine that Couldn't. They might just be the reason that TMs exist.

Kingdra <3
Heh, Dark Dragon and Electric Dragon are some types I'd like to see. We have Ghost Dragon (Giratina) and Steel Dragon (Dialga) and Ground Dragon (Flygon)...
Fairy Dragon would be interesting actually. It wouldn't have the Fairy weakness dragons now have (wtf?) and it wouldn't have the dragon weakness dragons have (wtf?)... I haven't done much research on the new type, but would that make it like the Dark-Ghost matchup? No 2x/4x weaknesses?
I don't see why Ray is weak to ice at all. He lives in the stratosphere where it's really freaking cold, and he's supposed to [canonically] beat the crap out of Groudon and Kyogre should they play too rough, and since Kyogre learns Ice Beam naturally, wouldn't that mean the big fish could just one-shot Ray and then take over the world?
Yeah poor Flareon ;3;
His limited movepool doesn't matter much in casual play (Where Swallow/SpitUp can still be relatively useful), but he's still a blast to use in Mystery Dungeon where a lot of the moves are a lot stronger than normal. I've been done in by a Jolteon's Pin Missile so many times in a dark lonely hallway ><

Dragon/Fairy totally seems like it'd be some sort of mascot legendary; it'd be all cute and adorable in the least threatening way ever xD. I don't know too much about the new fairy type, but wouldn't Dragon/Fairy still be 2x weak to Ice? Also, I'd love to see some Electric Dragon and Poison Dragon types; stylistically they'd be a blast to play with!
Really, canonically, Rayquaza shouldn't be weak to most things, but it's not like it's the first time that canon hasn't matched up with the reality of the situation. (I didn't know that the "God" Pokemon would be weak to getting punched in the face xD)
Also, I've been wanting to play the Mystery Dungeon games for a long while. For some reason I've never really gotten around to it yet. Do you have any suggestions for a game in that series to start with?
And yes, <3 Kingdra~

Yeah just checked - Ice is neutral to Fairy so it'd still be 2x effective to Dragonfaries.
Murr, electric dragon and poison dragon both would be fun.
Yeah.... But then again, that's also what made the pokemon games so much fun ^^
Super Smash Bros and Final Fantasy Dissidia too. Just being able to have fun with stuff you like (Having Bowser beat up Mario, Have Sonic fight Link, have Sephiroth KO Cloud, and so on)
Hmm... We could always take this to Notes because I could talk for ages about just Mystery Dungeon ^^
...
Actually I think I will :D

I can totally agree with that~
When it comes straight down to it, the Rule of Cool should totally reign supreme in games like that. Being able to live out the fun little fantasy "what-if" scenarios are some of the most fun parts of most games. Smash Bros and Dissidia both do that beautifully; watching Luigi beat up Mario or anybody beat up Tidus is just plain fun, all of the competition seriousness aside. I mean, isn't that basically what a game should be when ya boil it down? Fun first?
I'll await your note, Mr. Wyvern~

That's one reason why Nintendo was so damn successful - they put enjoyment and fun first, and logic second
Heh, Luigi had such an awesome "KO scream" in the N64 version. "hahahhahahaahaaaaaaaa!" xD
Was a pity when they changed it to a more 'realistic' "Whaaaaaa!" in Brawl =(
Heh, I prefer beating up on Vaan over Tidus when I play. Sometiems making Tidus do it himself >:3 Vaan and Tidus are both cool guys, but Vaan is perhaps the most useless protagonist of the series. Nice kid, but he did squat to advance the story. Balthier's claiming to be the "Leading Man" holds some water actually because he did more to advance the storyline than Vaan ever did.
I sent the note ^^
There was something I forgot to mention, and that was some moves acting vastly differently than their mainstream counterparts. Disable being LETHAL and not something easily shrugged off (It paralyzes you and leaves you easy to kill), and multi-attack moves like Fury Attack and Pin Missile are similarly lethal - doing MAJOR damage and not paltry damage.
Finally, moves like Earthquake and Silver Wind can strike an entire room, even if you're on the opposite end of it and have no way to reach the offending Pokemon. You'll learn to hate Butterfree and Beautifly with a passion after playing Pitfall Valley, since they both SPAM it every turn. Step into a huge room and one enters too? They'll spam it for major damage every turn until you die since you can't hit them and you can't duck back into a hallway in time to avoid it.
Agility gives you (temporarily) Act twice per turn, and then three times per turn. It affects allies too (Aerodactyls in the last dungeon are evil. They have Supersonic AND Agility)
Spite moves FULLY deplete PP, and enemy ghosts love to spam this. Lethal in long dungeons, useless for you except against bosses.
Dig can't be used in ocean dungeons (Duh) and Dive can't be used in land-based dungeons.

Probably not because of FA's limitations, but I have a larger resolution on my DA: http://raethalis.deviantart.com/art.....tion-405600089
Not the full resolution, but it's bigger :)
(ANd I did get permission prior to the posting)

Well, I know this image is really old now, and nobody will probably even read this, and I know im gonna sound like that complete know-it-all nerd who takes the fun out of everything, but according to the pokédex, flygon stands a whole foot taller than charizard, so this charizard must be abnormally large, or the flygon abnormally small. I am going through the trouble to say this because I feel that we, as well as charizard, were all robbed of a much bigger belly bulge, and a more satisfying meal!
