The fender "stripes" are known as commander stripes in the corvette world. The corvette pictured here looks to be an actual 1996 Grand Sport, only 1,000 made to mark the end of the C4 production. Other corvettes may have commander stripes but as a aftermarket add-on, since the only other true Grand Sports were 1963 and 2010.
