Damn that looks like one of those Gas Turbine Loco's that Union Pacific used to use, just without the B Unit.

Your close its an FL9 built in the 1950s for the New York New Haven and Hartford railroad abit smaller and are dual powered with a added third rail shoe (now removed) This way they were able to run into grand central on electricity

My question is where the B unit to this locomotive is, Does it still have one or was it converted to no longer needing a B unit?

New haven scraped all of their B units and since we only pull 3-4 coaches there is no need for a b-unit

They were pulled out of service in the early 90s the state transpotation then gave us 2019 and her sister 2002 around the same in 96 were they have run since
