BeautyShine is a very cheerful pony who loves to make other ponies feel good about themselves. She's extremely friendly and loves others and will do what she can to help them. As a makeup artist, she tends to value physical looks, but will only work with it in a way that will also reflect another's inner beauty. She herself is a bit insecure about how she looks without makeup and can be a bit jealous sometimes. She's also a bit pushy (but in a good way, usually.) She always means well. If she hurts anybody's feelings, she will immediately rain on them with apologies and anything to make them feel better.

BeautyShine was raised by a normal family as an only child, but always wanted a younger sister. Because of this, she tends to treat others as if they were sisters and brothers (though, she favors mares more) and is very welcoming to newcomers.
When she was young, she knew from the start that she loved using her mother's makeup. Though she disliked how it would be used to cover up another pony's real beauty. A friend of hers was being bullied by her classmates for being "ugly," so Beauty took it upon herself to give her friend the best makeover she could. She didn't change the way her friend looked at all, but instead enhanced the way she looked to better suit the way she wanted to look. Between the makeover itself and Beauty's use of words to give her friend confidence, she earned her cutie mark.

Since then, she has opened a beauty parlor to help other ponies feel good about the way they look, whether she needs to use makeup or just give them a better haircut! Of course, she'd never do anything without her customer wanting it.

BeautyShine also has a boyfriend, Mellowleaf the Alpaca. They met when he moved into town to sell his herbs and he needed a, er, "woolcut." His shop is next to her parlor, so they see each other often enough. He will also refer people to her if they have any issues. These two are an unstoppable "mommy and daddy" force.

[Older Character Sheet}
So since I have no more commissions to do, I decided to revise some character sheets. Since I've been on a pony kick, I decided it was best to start from the older character I had. I think MellowLeaf also needs to be redone a little, but he'll be saved for another time. :>

I know she's a bit like Rarity, but I have tried my best to differentiate them. If you didn't notice already as well, I desaturated her original color scheme a bit. ;u;
Also, in case anyone is wondering, the other pony is Fermata. She seems to be a common friend amongst my ponies. ouo~
