...was lookin' at some old live action superhero shows on YouTube... which got me ta r'memberin' some of my earliest fav. heroes... which brought me ta r'memberin' an oooold DC character that was perhaps one of the first experiences fer me that brought two of my life-long loves t'gether... comics and anthropomorphic animals...

Even waaaay back then as a kid I r'member when I first saw this character an I was head over heels in love... He right then an there b'came my idol... A friendly tiger who by fiendish circumstances of an arch enemy of Captain Marvel, gained the ability of speech and opposable thumbs... Tawky Tawny broke free of his cage an tried ta make an honest life for himself... but he always frightened people... (huge tiger walkin' upright... does tend ta annerve some folks I guess) so they sicced Captain Marvel on'im... but when Cap learned Tawny was really a good guy an meant no harm, he helped the big kitty get a nice suit an good payin' job... I think he became a detective if memory serves me...

...gaawds... all those years ago... hell, I wasn't even outta m'single digit age bracket yet an there I was... love-struck over an anthropomorphic tiger!... and now... many... many years later... I can finally give him the much deserved remembrance and tribute he deserves... for even before there was a Tony... even before there was an 'ExXon'... There was Tawky Tawny!

Here's ta you Big kitty... ya may be gone... an ya may've even been forgotten... but eventually... you'll always be remembered! :)
