Well, it looks like two of them are open right now. Maybe they don't rotate and you have to run to whichever side has the open beak on it.

Of course there would be. And obviously the more damaged it got, the shorter the interval would be.

I mean, to be fair, it is fairly close to the mouth. Doom Siren might have finnicky hitboxes.
