Yeah, I know, this is late. I can explain:
I took this about a month ago, and that was after my laptop died on me. Shortly thereafter, my brother let me borrow his old Vista desktop, which I quickly realized was a piece of garbage. I didn't trust it with my photos.
Finally, I got my new computer set up, and I can do photo stuff again!! w00t!

...and stuff...

So, um, yeah... I guess this whole 'The Calm at the end of Summer' is going to become a sort of series for me. I may just keep it to the end of summer, but I may extend it to the following:

The Calm at the End of Summer
The Colors Beneath (Fall peak colors)
The Last Days Before Snow
(Artsy-fartsy blizzard title here)
The First Day of New Life (First day of spring, both technically and realistically)
(Artsy-fartsy first day of summer/last day of spring/possibly midsummer's eve title)

An annual nature series. Hmmm...

That could work.
