As I´ve figured out how to succesfully do pixel art in SAI AND scale it to where I lose no quality whatsoever, I wanted to give it a try.
So, here´s my first ever pixel art. Admittedly I still need lots of work on this sort of style, but I´m sure I´ll get there.
The original canvas was only 50x50 pixels, which I´ve blown up to 500x500 in Gimp.
Just a sort of foetus in a test tube. I dunno. As the title reads, merely a tester.
I´ll keep practising with this and will eventually be offering pixel art commissions once I feel confident enough.

Sure thing!
It´s really simple.
Try it out with a small canvas first, like 50x50 or 100x100 and then just zoom all the way in. This one has a resolution of 72 dpi.
Then you grab the binary tool and just go at it! The binary tool will only color in one pixel at a time, so that´s all you need. Bring it down the 1 pixel if you need, otherwise grab a bigger size.
I hope this helps!
