You know, it is amazing how some of the simplest things can truly snap us out of the worst of states.
This picture is indeed quite symbolic. Knowing that Alexander does have some joys in the world means that there is a part of him that has not lost hope in having a happy life. Sure much of the world may seem cruel, harsh, and very uncaring. However, if such a world can create something as adorable as this most special shirt, there must be some good to it. Enough good to keep on the search for that one friend and/or special purpose in life that will make him no longer feel as he does now.
This actually relates a lot with my past two days at work. I've been getting very agitated by how I've been feeling treated. Though, there are happy things in life. Enough happy things to allow me to just go, do my job, and come home knowing that I need not let the bothers of my job tear me down and make me into a giant, grouchy, fussy-pants. :)
