Tasty taco with a twist from the kitchens of
OTACONXIX
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
-1 LB ground beef
-1 med chopped onion
-1 pkg taco mix (any taco mix will do, I used Lawry's)
-1 cup salsa
-1 cup milk
-2 eggs
-1/2 cup of Bisquick
-3/4 cup shredded cheese
-1 9 inch pie dish
-1 skillet
-strainer
-med mixing bowl
-whisk
STEP 1:
Start by cooking and browning the ground beef and onion. When beef is completely brown, drain it in the strainer and return to the skillet with the burner off and stir in the taco mix. When mixed together, spoon into the bottom of the pie dish as one equal layer. Next add the salsa as another layer on top.
STEP 2:
Preheat oven at 400 degrees. While preheating, stir the milk, eggs, and Bisquick into the med bowl until blended. Pour evenly onto pie.
STEP 3:
Bake for 25 minutes, then add the cheese on top. Bake an additional 8-10 minutes longer.
