This burmese python happly named Snowball passed away on us last night under the knife.. The vet was doing all he could to save his life.. He was sold to me by a guy that could not keep him. The vet and I both beleave the chikens he was feeding him may have had something on the bird or fed him live an hurt the inside of his mouth. I had him healthy for a few months got him back to eating rabbits but he took a turn for the worst and we rushed him to the vet his eye swelled he went almost white the vets rushed him under the knife as fast as they could to help him.
I had a feeling something was wrong when I heard the phone ring and we got the new that he didn't make it..
His age is unknown he jumped from house to house over his life time sadly most large reptiles deal with all there lifes.. He was 12ft long and a heart of gold people say large snake's are monsters an eat anything that comes near them well thats not alwas true this guy chilled with my dog and I on the couch how dose that make him a monster? If you ever plane to get a large reptile please PLEASE!! make sure you are ready to care for him or her there hole life! There are some that can live up to 30+ years! And make sure you have a vet close that can look after them if anything is to happen I am so sad to have lost this big guy.. I wish I could of done more but all I can be glade for is he is no longer in pain.. Take care of your selfs and your repiles all!
