i think your lineart work is really good and the burd is a cute one. i like the single hair/feather braid thing shes wearing. the whole outfit is fun .

Yeah, i've really been meaning to do more lately. If I had to pick something behind bugs that I enjoy drawing, it's birds. Because there's so many different kinds characterizations. Honestly, I've been getting a little annoyed with how my bugs kinda... lack certain inherent details that I can add with other species. If that makes any sense.

No, I just mean like... Birds for example. Colors, feathers, beaks, personalities, there's a lot to work with as far as what details I can use.
With my insects, it's a little harder to do things like hair and whatnot. In my doodles, too many of them look the same.

and then I draw mammals, birds, reptiles and I'm like "Holy shit, I can do some neat shit here" and that just doesn't happen much with the bugs.

Yeah, there's a lot more variation within birds for art then there is between bugs. (Of course, you could always look up really obscure insect species, seeing as how they're over half of all animal life on the planet)
