Meet Mochi.
Mochi is a Mini-Michi, but not like the ones you know.
As with all successful products, they take time to reach that level of greatness. The Mini-Michiis were no exception. Many separate labs and tests were done to make sure each part of the Mini-Michiis would function as intended. After years of research, the pieces were brought together and the very first Mini-Michi was "born". Raiku decided to name her "Mochi". A week after the successful launch of the Mini-Michiis, Raiku gifted Mochi to Michelle as a "thank you" for her assistance in their development.
Mochi differs from the production model in several ways.
-She is slightly taller, standing at 3.5" tall instead of 2"
-She has a chubbier build and a more noticeable bosom.
-Her muzzle and face bear a closer resemblance to the real Michelle.
-Her eyes, while smaller, are more expressive.
On top of that, she is also compatible with every cancelled/scrapped module that was originally planned for the Mini-Michiis. This includes downloadable language packs, mp3-player capabilities (pulled in lieu of a later project), and various assortments of Michi-sized weaponry. Mochi can wear any article of clothing the production models can with the exception of pants and some skirts.
Mochi's personality, however, leaves something to be desired. She is rude with people she isn't comfortable with, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Even if she does warm up to a person, she has trouble showing affection, and often just reverts back to being disrespectful and mean. While she secretly loves being called "cute", she'll openly hate it and act viciously against everything that goes with it (poke her tummy or pat her head and see what happens). Mochi doesn't have the intuitive, curiosity-driven spirit that the production models do, so she sometimes comes off as lazy.
Despite all this, she is very loyal to those who treat her right, and will show it when the going gets rough. Mochi may be nothing more than a pain to some, but an amazing companion to others.
*of note, though she does have a very shapely build, Mochi does not have any reproductive organs. This is true of every Mini-Michi, past and present.
