A made a new fursuit - Twain (Thing without an interesting name). This fursuit was build for two purposes - I wanted to build a really cheap fursuit (for my panel at EF19: "How to build cheap fursuits") and a fursuit best suited for dancing (very light, cool to wear, comfortable,...).
Fursuit head features:
- detachable fur cover (completely washable)
- detachable 3D-printed nose
- movable ears and eyelids (controlled with Bowden cables - purely mechanical)
- moving lower jaw
- radial fan in the muzzle
- LED backlights for the eyes
The fur is from two bedspreads (Tagesdecken vom Dänischen Bettenlager) - it's like the material that is normally used to build plushies for toddlers. The material is incredibly soft and the backing stretches in one direction.
It's a really cheap fursuit (under 100€).
