A familiar face, but a first to see her as she truly appears in my stories. Re-introducing Cierra the Shiny Umbreon!

Cierra began as an attempt to create another Umbreon in my stories. Initially, she began as a character to "imitate" stereotypes of what I felt others held about Umbreons (Umbreons being "dark," and "evil," "misunderstood" creatures with little or no heart), until I scrapped the idea entirely. I instead redesigned her personality to be something a bit more of a pawn for the plans of the humans using her... and as a result, she became the last major character to be added to my stories (with the exception of a young male Eevee named Destiny).

Cierra was raised as an Eevee before being forcefully evolved shortly after being weaned from her mother. The forced evolution caused some problems with her ability to learn to defend herself, and made her body fairly weak to attacks due to her small size (She never grew to be the full size of an Umbreon). Despite being used as a battling Pokemon, Cierra was never ever very powerful, and was rarely used for battles, and thus lived a life trapped within her cage at the facility where she was kept.

However... Matt, Cassie, and Ranger were spotted and identified by the humans as "wild Pokemon," and sought to capture Matt, as he was also an Eon of the same species as Cierra. They figured he would make good breeding material, and made every attempt to capture him using Cierra as bait. Cierra actually grew attached to Matt, and became a very sympathetic (yet clingy) friend, helping him during his hardships being so far away from home... Unfortunately, a number of bad encounters with Cassie chased her away, and so Cierra's story sadly came to a close once she left Matt and his friends. Nobody knows what ever happened to Cierra... but for Cierra, it was an adventure about to begin.
